I was "assigned" to River City Dental through my dental plan but haven't gone yet. Do they pressure you into getting work done? That is a big reason I haven't gone, it's been so long I know I need a long list of things I can't afford all at once. I appreciate all the feedback.

Love my dentist, hes is in el dorado hills though, i think its worth the drive because im a weenie when it comes to my teeth, Dr. Ben Cope. I have issues with novacane and have had other dentists still work on my mouth even though i told them i wasnt numb. Him and his staff spent ALOT of time trying to figure out what to do for me and finally figured it out, so i had all my work that i had been avoiding for years done by him:)

Retired 30 years Dentistry in this area! Stay away from Everheart Main and Madison nice guy but... Or River city dental Madison hazel... Good dentist Dr Frank Gontarski hazel ave... I really like Star Dental in Roseville everyone I have referred there loves them husband and wife DDS I see Dr Sonny... Children's DDS Dr Weidiman for sure!!! Good luck! It also depends on type on dental insurance!

I highly reccomend Dr. Engel. With Engel family dentistry. He and his team are awesome!!! They are in Folsom on Creekside. Beautiful clean office, no pressure, honest and do great work!

Wayne Riggert is excellent in Citrus Heights. Pamela Devine is spot on in regards to her recommendations ~ stay away from Everhart. I'm a dental hygienist with 32 years in this area. Melisa Conwell I know you'd like to find you dental records and like you I'm shocked that Dr Price closed his doors but most likely you will not be successful. Remember your dental history is in your mouth. If you have insurance your insurance company has your history. You also can contact the Sacramento District Dental Society for assistance.

I went to doctor Weidiman's as a child and Mr. Weidiman was the worst dentist ever. Wouldn't believe me when I said I wasn't numb and would whisper things in my ear like, "Shut up!" and "Your crying is upsetting my other patients." They have a huge roo m with at least 8 beds in it where all the children are treated at once. And parents aren't allowed back until the procedure is done. I had nightmares about him for years. His daughter that took over the practice might be different now. *shrug* I was a patient at Dr. Wheaton's office up until recently when Dr. Parish took over (see above posts). I have never experienced so much pain in my jaw as I have after having work done by his staff. I've been back twice to have poorly done fillings filed down and still no relief; one "reworked" tooth was done that I didn't have a problem with until the filler chick decided it was the issue. And another time I left the office with a huge hole where there should have been filling. I'm glad they kept a few of Dr. Wheaton's staff but I'm not sure I'll go back to have them "correct" what they've already screwed up. Then again, I'm not sure how much more Ibuprofen I can take everyday to avoid the headaches.

Love my Dentist Dr. Daniel Parish, he is in Carmichael! 916 484-7481. I used to have a phobia regarding Dentists but he makes me very comfortable! Truly a very caring man.

Try Rockrose Dental in Roseville. ..they are great they took mine and Jasons Albertsons dental insurance as payment in full. ..we didn't have to pay our 20% deductable...

Pleasant Grove Dental on Fairway takes DeltaCare, but they're terrible. We go to Smile Quest (awesome, spa-like experience!), and they take every other Delta insurance except DeltaCare.

My daughters were on DeltaCare for a year before we changed. It's hard to find a "good" dentist on that plan, because they aren't paid well by Delta under that plan. We changed insurance. Pleasant Grove dental is the only local dentist I have found who will take what Delta pays them under DeltaCare.

Weighing in - our favorite dentist is Dr. Kevin Mills in Granite Bay - corner of Douglas/Auburn-Folsom Rd. They do take Delta.

I will check them out. Pleasant Grove Dental is terrible.

I recommend Dr. Wilson (father and son) at Rocklin Dental Center, 5800 Stanford Ranch Rd.

So. I have the most amazing dentist. You will pay out of pocket but worth it. Dr. Shelby smith in Antioch. 925-755-5115. She works with special needs kids all the time and uses a service dog to help calm kids down. My son is autistic and wouldn't let anyone clean his teeth.
