It is free to use the Gulf Side of Pensacola Beach for a wedding. As mentioned above it IS a public beach so anyone can walk/run by, but most people are pretty good about staying out of the ceremony. It wouldn't hurt to check with the Santa Rosa Islan d Authority prior to the event. The company I work for rents beach homes and quite a few are used for wedding receptions with ceremonies being held on the beach. The Island Authority does require a permit if there are 35 or more people attending the reception. A permit is also required if you will be setting up a tent on the beach for either the reception or wedding. All of the bakeries above are going to hate me for saying this but after recently attending a wedding show and trying SO MANY cakes....Publix was actually the best! Very impressed with their cakes and only a $30 delivery charge to the beach! Fringe salon has been FANTASTIC and is so convenient out here on the beach. Hope this helps a bit!

Cakes By Lorna. She did ours, but that was some time ago. She was located off 72 nd avenue. She and her daughters made our day... welll... OUR day. We worried over NOTHING, and the cake was a MASTERPIECE! THey did all the food, most of the Decor, and the cake was... SPECTACULAR. For barely $400 for everything. Set up, tear down, preparation, AND presentation. I was SOOOOO impressed!

No it doesn't cost to have a ceremony on the beach, just cost for chairs and decorations. The Cake Shop does great work but you can also go with a local baker who can cut overhead costs. Professional hair and makeup not sure
