Okay, maybe I have missed it but I have not seen a picture of a "Wet Tenderloin" yet on here. Does anyone make them anymore in any restaurant?
Bob B. replied:
@david I've seen both ways. Personally I don't care for 'em. Mrs. B likes them, though, and uses utensils.
Jim N. replied:
Jim Dandy Restaurants located in Tipton, Noblesville and Greenfield IN serve a wet tenderloin.
Bob B. replied:
David Stovall: Checked with the Mrs. She informs me that she cut it in half, then picked up each piece with her hands.
David S. replied:
You missed it. New Archview in Chicago on the south side. https://www.facebook.com/groups/39165973462/permalink/10151737492213463/
Cindy S. replied:
The Riley House in Greenfield, Indiana offers both wet tenderloins and regular tenderloin sandwiches.
Susan T. replied:
Jim Dandy, several locations in Indiana
Bob B. replied:
David Stovall: In my opinion, Jim Dandy's appears to be just a fritter dipped in gravy. The Tie Dye Grill at 13 th and Shadeland in Indianapolis serves a Wet Tenderloin each Tenderloin Tuesday (although I've never seen it or tried one).
Bob B. replied:
The Wet Tenderloin at Jim Dandy on West McKenzie Road in Greenfield, Indiana. This photo was just taken about two Fridays ago. So the answer is yes, they are still around.

Jim N. replied:
Bob Burchfield, either you're wrong or Jim Dandy is fibbing on their menu. http://www.jdrest.com/JDmenu.pdf advertised as a hand breaded tenderloin smothered in gravy. I've never had a tenderloin at Jim Dandy that I thought to be a fritter.
Bob B. replied:
Jim Naden: I was at Jim Dandy in Greenfield last night with 4 family members (it's two blocks from my house). Here's what my daughter-in-law got when she ordered a tenderloin (there'a a single slice of tomato underneath). I can't speak for any of their other locations, but this photo speaks for itself, in my opinion.
Barbara K. replied:
I have to say that I have been disappointed the last few times I was in Greenfield with the Jim Dandy tenderloin. I, too, think it is a fritter. However, last time I was there, I went to Carol's Cornerstone Cafe, and their tenderloin was fabulous. I don't remember if they had a 'wet' option (was never my thing), but I loved the one I did have. And I remember when the GCHS cafeteria offered 'tenderloin sandwich, wet or dry' on their cafeteria menu
I used to love the Wet Tenderloin Sandwiches at the Kissin' Cuzins Restaurant in Maxwell Indiana, a small town, east of Indianapolis approx. 23 miles. I have never found...
Robert D. replied:
Yep, that is the one restaurant in Laurel Hill. Very small town. One Tom Thumb gas station. Their Ph. #1(850)652-3222. address is; 8196 N. Hwy. 85, Laurel Hill, FL. It is just a few miles south of the Alabama border which has a larger town of Florala, AL which has campgrounds & a large LAKE JACKSON. They had a local restaurant that hade all homemade food that was really good. Do not know the name right now but it is in the downtown area where Hwy. 331, 85 & 55 all intersect in that town. They had really great food but not sure if they had the BPT. now you guys got me going. I am going to have to take a trip around Northwest Florida & search for the best BPT in the area. Right now, it is still Laurel Hill.
Robert P. replied:
Jim Dandy, in Tipton IN used to feature a wet tenderloin. It is a BPT coated in gravy. We Hoosiers recognize Gravy as the fourth essential food group, behind Corn, Pork and Tomatoes.
David S. replied:
I'm guessing you are recalling John's Famous Stew in Indianapolis. You can get stew topped burgers and tenderloins there. http://indysfamousstew.com/
Anyone in this group a PADI certified instructor? Or a scuba instructor?

I'd go to Pensacola, Pensacola Beach or Ft. Walton. Peg Leg Pete's, Hemingway's, Grand Marlin, Flounders, or Crabs on Pensacola Beach. The Melting Pot or Global Grill in Pensacola. I'm not familiar with places in the other direction, except Old Bay Steamer or Pandora's on Okaloosa Island. Taking kids or couple's dinner? Seafood or no?

My favorite new Restaurant saying in Okaloosa County Florida, closed for renovation. Meaning they need to find new homes for the rats or cockroaches. Another place...
Katie D. replied:
ding ding ding Chris Freeman you win a prize! My favorite is when they say closed for renovations and there is ZERO construction on scene, etc. They are suppose to open Thursday. Pest control is usually a 2-4 day closure.
