David Stovall: In my opinion, Jim Dandy's appears to be just a fritter dipped in gravy. The Tie Dye Grill at 13 th and Shadeland in Indianapolis serves a Wet Tenderloin each Tenderloin Tuesday (although I've never seen it or tried one).

Jim Naden: I was at Jim Dandy in Greenfield last night with 4 family members (it's two blocks from my house). Here's what my daughter-in-law got when she ordered a tenderloin (there'a a single slice of tomato underneath). I can't speak for any of their other locations, but this photo speaks for itself, in my opinion.

I have to say that I have been disappointed the last few times I was in Greenfield with the Jim Dandy tenderloin. I, too, think it is a fritter. However, last time I was there, I went to Carol's Cornerstone Cafe, and their tenderloin was fabulous. I don't remember if they had a 'wet' option (was never my thing), but I loved the one I did have. And I remember when the GCHS cafeteria offered 'tenderloin sandwich, wet or dry' on their cafeteria menu

Yep, that is the one restaurant in Laurel Hill. Very small town. One Tom Thumb gas station. Their Ph. #1(850)652-3222. address is; 8196 N. Hwy. 85, Laurel Hill, FL. It is just a few miles south of the Alabama border which has a larger town of Florala, AL which has campgrounds & a large LAKE JACKSON. They had a local restaurant that hade all homemade food that was really good. Do not know the name right now but it is in the downtown area where Hwy. 331, 85 & 55 all intersect in that town. They had really great food but not sure if they had the BPT. now you guys got me going. I am going to have to take a trip around Northwest Florida & search for the best BPT in the area. Right now, it is still Laurel Hill.

Jim Dandy, in Tipton IN used to feature a wet tenderloin. It is a BPT coated in gravy. We Hoosiers recognize Gravy as the fourth essential food group, behind Corn, Pork and Tomatoes.

ding ding ding Chris Freeman you win a prize! My favorite is when they say closed for renovations and there is ZERO construction on scene, etc. They are suppose to open Thursday. Pest control is usually a 2-4 day closure.
