Phoenix Skin is great. I would make appt and call daily to try and get in for a cancel. You will find all good Dermatologist will be 2-3 min out, they are busy offices. Going to a dr and referral will just have you call so you will spend another copay to do the same thing. If you are really concerned go to minor emerg they can biopsy but you still regardless will have to go to dermatologist to get further treatment if needed. I wouldn't spend good money after bad. Drs offices are just too busy to make appt or call for you and the wait as a new patient will be the same. I am established and it is 30/45 days to schedule.

I just went to Spectrum Dermatology they have a scottsdale office and a Phoenix office at desert ridge. They got me right into the desert ridge office and they were awesome. Dr Kim is great. They removed a suspicious mole for biopsy and I did not even feel it. My results came back in exactly a week and was benign thankfully.

Dr McCraken North Scottsdale Derm or andy Doc at Spectrum Derm.480-948-8400. Sound silly but if I am worried about the look of something I don't call I go in and ask the folks at the desk for help to find and appt. They are always more helpful in person.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good dermatologist in FH? I'd rather not have to drive to Scottsdale if possible. Thanks.
Jennifer M. replied:
Dr McCraken

I just saw the PA Rena at Scottsdale Center for Dermatology, the Fountain Hills location is at the complex on Pallisades. She was great.

I use Dr. Mcraken. He's in Scottsdale, but comes to FH I think One day a week.
Barbara R. replied:
Agree with many above. Dr. McCracken main office is in Scottsdale, but has a branch here in Fountain Hills. Myself and my husband have been seeing him for years. He also has WONDERFUL staff that can assist you if he's busy.
