Pewitt Brothers, 615-794-3136. Locally owned for the past 65 or so years. They take care of all of the county patrol cars and have had that contract since sometime in the 80's. They can fix anything on every make and model. No need to go anywhere else. Very honest and fair, you will not be disappointed. Ask for Randy.

Chris at Franklin Oil Stop, on Royal Oaks, across from the Home Depot. I get my oil changed there and several years ago, he offered to take care of some other maintenance issues for me. Over time now he's done just about anything and everything I've needed for my 10 year old Pilot - honest, good work, very fair pricing. If it is something he cannot do or does not know enough about, he'll tell you right up front.

We've used Veach's (older gentleman & his son), 794-5008, over by the factory for about 10 years. They're good, honest folks too. They tell you when it's "about time to look for a new car" too;). lol When we were car shopping for our teen, we took every car to them to look over. They did it at no charge.

Moody' Tire. Been in business over 70 years.
Colleen C. replied:
Pewitt Brothers opened in 1949 and Moody's opened in 1944, they are the two oldest businesses in Franklin.

I can highly recommend Pewitt Brothers. Used them for years. Reasonable, honest, a family operation.

YES, read all that on MAK's work. To much work and I don't know anyone that can do that...plus not happy with how the Mean Streak rotor looks after it is cut down to size. So you are talking about a 1500 nomad? So you mean one of these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/00-Kawasaki-Nomad-VN-1500-Rear-Wheel-STRAIGHT-247-VN1500-/281797341514?hash=item419 c6 e314 a:g:Q0 gAAOSwFnFV8 xff&vxp=mtr
