The Rec Center is 5 minutes away. Very affordable! And personal trainers have competitive rates if you choose to go that route. You can have 2 free hours of sitting service (for children 6 weeks to age 9) Monday through Saturday while you're there working out. ALL employees have passed background checks. We have a night nurse that starts the night we come home from the hospital and will work 7 nights straight the first week, then she will go to Sun-Thursday nights. She comes 6 p-6 a. She typically stays with a family until the baby/babies are sleeping about 6 hours through the night because if you can get 6 hours of sleep, you can "have a life" meaning tend to the daily needs of your home, work, other children etc. Our night nurse had worked for several families we know by now, and they've said yes that first night of turning off the monitor is hard but then you can do it. With ours coming at 6 p, she will help with bath time, and last night feeds etc while I pick up home, make dinner for husband and I, etc. You could also use care.com and find a mothers helper to come in for a few hours a day- whichever hours are your craziest- to help you manage it all. I have a girlfriend with twins and they hired a helper from 5-8 pm everyday since that was when she and hubby were coming home from work, getting dinner ready, etc. She needed an extra someone to help her. There are endless ways to assist your family in ways that will help your home run better and therefore help you feel better and be your best self. I would just evaluate which part is the most overwhelming, and start by getting help there, and then conquer the next area etc. Hugs to you!

Did you look into some of the churches? Catherine goes three days a week here, and we've been so happy with it. Pretty sure Brentwood Methodist has a good program.

Shining Light Preschool at corner of Hwy 96 and Clovercroft. We LOVE it!

Club Lime in Gungahlin is great! Crèche staff are lovely and the play area is very inviting and includes an outdoor area. I checked out Golds and wasn't overly impressed. The crèche is one long room with no windows.
