Dr Dave from Piedmont is fantastic. My husband is an equine dentist and has been very impressed with Dr. Dave's work. We recommend him hands down. At least one of the dentists mentioned here we would not recommend to anyone. Please do your research before you let anyone touch your horse's teeth.

Dr Rucker from va beach. Premier VET who specialized and only does teeth. Travels up here regularly
Lizzy P. replied:
Idk if he'd travel that far but I'd definitely recommend Jole Nupp with friendship equine. Very affordable, both my guys have been horrible with getting their teeth done and needed sedating before. He did them without and my boys barely even flinched. He's great at what he does and explains and let's you feel the teeth so you can understand what he's doing and why. He's taught me so much in just the appointment he's done with my guys, he's awesome!
Can anyone suggest a vet in or near stafford that doesn't charge an arm and a leg?
Brandi S. replied:
Dr. Wagner@Fredericksburg Animal Hospital is awesome!!!

Both of the vets names for Princess anne animal hospital are Dr Gibbons both of them are really awesome never had any problems with them
Karen P. replied:
Dr Bakerian, well all the vets really, at Fredericksburg Animal Hospital our wonderful. Been going there for 15 years!
Karen P. replied:
$49 for vet visit at Fred. Animal Hospital but for things like yeast in my cat's ears they've let me simply bring in a swab and not made me pay for a vet visit. If you simply need vaccinations or neuter/spay, go to the Kinchloe Clinic attached to the Spotsy Animal Shelter. Cash only but 1/2 to 1/3 the price of elsewhere.

I need a veterinarian or someone who knows one... My dog is not well and I need to know what to do. I don't have the money to take her in so advice is all I can afford.
Amy J. replied:
I know you said you don't have the money to take her but this place does everything at cost from what I understand. They may be able to see her tomorrow. http://www.thethomasbeathclinic.com/#!/page_home

Del Mar goes to Colonial Vet in Springfield . They are not open on Sundays, however, and Emergency Vets are expensive.
I'm looking for a good vet for my new little kitty. I want one that is reasonable in price and loving and really cares.
Diana K. replied:
Hi Candace. There are several good vets in the area. I have used Compassion Animal Hospital, Aquia Garrisonville, and even the vets at Quantico.... however I now use the Thomas Beath Veterinary Clinic. They have spayed/neutered 4 of my kitties, did hip surgery on another and taken care of another. I take all my dogs and cats there now. Their prices are very reasonable and staff is great.... just my opinion

It's a bit of a drive, but worth it. Dr. Metzger at Aquia Garrisonville Animal Hospital is wonderful and available in the evenings and weekends. She's a Vet that gets that most owners have to work. You can check out AGAH website.
