Anyone know a bakery where they bake good rye bread? I know the big supermarkets have what they call bakeries, but I mean a bakery bakery.

Glass oven is long gone because they sucked and their prices were insane. The ONE chocolate cake I bought was so dry we were choking on it! Mario's is still in Oceanside, but really? The new owner opted to go with CHEAP INGREDIENTS almost 2 years ago and everything tastes like cardboard now. STOP N SHOP in Freeport has a really good bakery in house. Fresh baked daily and pretty awesome for a supermarket. I LOVE their rye and pumpernickel, and the Kaiser rolls are the best! I'm always there, (cursed left foot willing), every Sunday morning 7 am for fresh out of the oven!

Cross street is Guy Lombardo. It's on the northwest just in from the corner.
No there isnt. Go to Front St in RVC or Whistle Stop in Oceanside. Both really good.

Steven Louie because the bakery you visited didn't have what you wanted, ready made, you think they aren't a decent bakery? People like you are the problem. And the people who responded to you are enablers.
