Jenni, go to www.har.com and check out the Client Ratings for all the recommendations you get for the local Realtors. You can see what actual past clients have to say about each person anonymously. If the Realtor you're looking up doesn't have any or many ratings published, that should also tell you something.It's a voluntary program, but not everyone chooses to participate and make the ratings public. I specialize in Friendswood and own my own brokerage here.

I've known him for a few years both personally and professionally (has helped us with real estate transactions and I'm also his CPA), and he's been nothing but great. Easy to get along with, he grew up down there, and he works 24/7. Give him a shout - 281.639.4350. As an added note, I stand to gain nothing from the referral - it's illegal for me to refer services for money due to my license. I just know he's really good. Good luck with your first purchase!

My aunt is a realtor who has lived and worked in the Friendswood area for nearly 20 years. She can hook you up. I was looking for a temporary apartment near there (Webster/Clear Lake) a couple years ago and she told me to give her a list of the ones I was considering. She knew so much about them, I ended up going with the one she said was best.
