hahaha now that made me LOL Ray Farmer ...Another thumbs up here for Hospital Alhaurin El Grande, they advised AGAINST surgery for my heart pup and she's doing great under their care... smile emoticon
Suzie M. replied:
Hospital Veterinario Alhaurín el Grande is the cheapest AND best vet I've found. I've been using them for over 15 years for dogs and cats. I would advise to avoid CANES next to PAD. I found them expensive and uncaring on two occasions.

Thanks Ann Mcconnell this is a result of some kind of fall. we have an apt at Alhauarin Vets on Thursday, my local vet wanted to charge me €320 + extra for x-rays and antibiotics around ¢400 just too much, my fault I love the furry little buggers that's why I adopted them x
Ray F. replied:
As I said previously, I use the Alhurin hospital myself - but its not just the expertise of the staff, its that they are open 24 hours a day & they have all the equipment for in-house testing, x-rays etc....... its only about a 20 minute drive from Fue ngirola, so for me that's not to far - as if I were to use anyone else, you never know when they will be open plus I found the costs to be higher at these normal vets as well. To find it (from Fuengirola), drive up the Coin road into Alhurin el grande. At the end of the coin road is a crossroads (tobaccos shop on the right corner) - turn left here and the hospital is a little way down on the left side...... they have a car park at the rear & like I also said > there's always someone on call, so don't hesitate if your pet needs help, as the sooner you get there the better like emoticon
Ray F. replied:
The Alhurin hospital mentioned above is open 24 hour, 365 days a year. I travel to them from Fuengirola, as they have all the required equipment, they are very competant & prices are lower than normal vets (i think ! )....... If it appears closed, knoc k on the side door & wait as if they are in surgery, you may have to wait a short time for help. The last time i needed them, it was about midnight on a sunday evening - knocked on the side door & was seen to straight away .........also, bear in mind, this is not a normal vet, but a animal hospital (much more than a vet) like emoticon
