The Learning Tree allowed my son to bust his head open( granted they didn't allow that part he done that on his own, by standing on a table and jumping off over and over, but where were the teachers). After he busted his head open they allowed him to sit there for almost 4 hours before calling me, he needed 4 stitches once I got him to the emergency room. When I un enrolled him they called DCS on me for neglect. DCS found their claims unfounded. It was very chaotic. My son also knew his alphabet and could spell his name when he started there and he done nothing but digress in his learning while he was there.

Kiddie Korral,is awesome!!
Rochelle R. replied:
Kiddie Korral is amazing! Its not a big fancy building, but dont let that stop you. The teachers are amazing. They are structured with lessons, play time, etc. My son is in advanced math and reading in Kindergarten as well as 2 other kids that went to Kiddie Korral with him. They cram so much into their little brains and make it fun. I never worried if he was ok when I left him there and I am over protective. Give them a call!

The best thing to do is go to www.tn.gov/accweb/ this brings up the listing off all DHS licensed providers, center based and family. Click on the county your are looking for care in and then the zip code. Look for agencies that have three stars. Click on the stars, look for three stars as a must under program assessment, professional development, and developmental learning. Go back to the list and go to the second from last column and click on the agencies compliance history.

Maybe she was lol but yes....it's very uncomfortable thought! I remember my search for childcare in Gallatin, and I ended up finding something in Hendersonville for a while, until I found this church daycare to send her to. She's my youngest, and VERY attached to me, so I was very picky about where I wanted to send her! I wanted to send her to College Heights but at they time they didn't have anything available...maybe try calling them too! FPP's phone number is 615-230-7929 if you want to try again! :)

My mom runs an in home daycare! Here’s her ad: After having the experience of looking for child care and not being successful with decent options, I have decided to provide this option to others again. I have over 10 years experience with in home childcare. I am a nurse, CPR certified, first aid certified and I have been in the medical field for 8 years. I have 5 children of my own that are off to school and a 12 month old at home. I am looking to become a in home childcare provider again for this reason and would love to have extra income for us. We are a smoke free home. $125 weekly. Hot meals and snacks included for toddlers. (Bring your own if they have allergies). I know one of my concerns was someone driving with my children and I won't be driving with your child. I have a room that is completely dedicated and safety proof for the children with its own entrance. I give parents a lunch menu monthly and our daily schedule. I'm in the process of fencing in a area for outside play. References are available. Newborn to preschool ages. Margie Riggs 6156007498

Bright Horizons at Dollar General is THE BEST. Many of the teachers have Masters Degrees, they have very low turn over-it's great. Unfortunately, it's so good that the waiting list (especially for non-employees) is often long, but it's definitely worth looking in to.

Hi Hip Gallatin! I have a two-in-one post.
1- We are zoned for Vena Stuart and I know nothing about this school. I would love some feedback from parents in the area....
Christina S. replied:
We love vena stuart!!! https://www.facebook.com/187123024685076 Small Steps Childcare for preschool!
Susan B. replied:
Both of my boys went to Vena Stuart and we loved it there. My youngest had severe anxiety issues and they were so supportive in helping us with him so that he could succeed.
Erin T. replied:
I had a terrible experience with Vena Stuart this year. My son has ADHD, and instead of working with him and helping him learn, they sent him to alternative school and labeled him a "bad kid". He was tested for special needs and moved to Benny Bills for a program that he should have been put in back in August, but Vena Stuart couldn't be bothered to take the time to help him out.
Teddy B. replied:
I went to Vena Stuart in the 80's great school oh wait that is now R.T Fisher sorry can't help you. Sumner County Schools are the best in the county.
