Hey guys. I have a client that is interested in a Big Bore GET engine for his Zoomer (yes, the European/Japanese FI-Ruckus). I'm no motor guy beyond exhaust/variators...

The internetz is not liking DPR right now... Can't open their page at all. JC Racing has lots of Ruckus performance stuff, but they don't seem to sell an actual BB kit, or rebuilt BB engines? I emailed http://mx-performance.com/id65.html a week ago, but no reply...

Well, I wasn't going to noob out on it. I would have my buddy who's a professional Honda mechanic complete the engine. But I'm still not sure if a Ruckus engine mates well with the EFI, waiting for response from Steady Garage. But in any case there would be some serious money involved... I'll have too see how much it would come to in the end and if my client think it's worth it.
I'm looking for a reliable mechanic in the Southern California area to work on my '92 Sentra SE-R. Any recommendations?

I'm in Placentia. I found a place called Bedard Automotive which has good Yelp reviews. Basically I need to replace the timing chain on the car that I just got (200K on odo). Also won't pass smog because of high HC number. I replaces the cat with a new one but still not burning the fuel before exhaust. So might be indication of an issue. Don't know. I want to go to a mechanic that can be trusted.
