There are plenty of 2 bedroom townhouses and duplexes. Start by looking on Zillow. If there is nothing of interest just drive around neighborhoods and see what has a sign posted out front. I know that doesn't help much.

I highly recommend using a realtor. I used one and she found us a great house that exceeded expectations for the price. She negotiated the rent down $100 a month, lined up properties to look at, treated us kindly and reviewed the lease before we signed it. All at no cost to us.
