The last time I went to Twin Tops. It was late in the evening, the place was nearly empty. All my food was cold, the french fries and hushpuppies tasted like a full day in the refrigerator. That said the salad bar was good. Why do these fish camps buy the cheapest frozen french fried that they can get, Hardees and any fast food joint has better fried their hush puppies tast frozen as well. You may have never been To North Star in Dallas, but you will get the hottest and fresh cooked food to order there. They don't cook it up ahead and put it under the lights like twin tops does. I would go back to twin tops for salad bar but not for eat in fish.

We've always gone to Surf & Turf until we went to Captain Petes in Lincolnton. So good and very reasonable prices plus they always have specials! It's like the ways fish camps used to be:)

Either Captain Cap is my favorite! Every time I get talked into going to Twin Tops, they don't have baked potatoes...

Twin Tops is good, but Catfish Cove is our favorite.

For me, Riverside and Twin Tops are tied for "best." It used to be Long Creek until the changes and the move, now not so much.

Captain Steve's in Fort Mill is way better. Drive there and you will be unhooked on twin tops.

No!! Captain Steves on hwy 21 is the best!!! For us anyways

We really like Catfish Cove. Tons of food, and the waitress we always get is Fabulous! We always have enough to bring home for another meal. Love's was ok.....

Every fish camp I've gone to in this area tend to fry fish until it's dry and tasteless. Twin Tops is filthy ... dishes at salad bar (if you want to call it that) had dried-on food in several of the tiny bowls. My sister-in-law's Mahi Mahi she had there was like eating sawdust because it was so over cooked. Fish is a tender meat; it only requires a small amount of cooking.
