William Hayes 704-864-5437 He is AMAZING!!! I wouldn't trust my daughter in anyone else's hands. He's the only doctor at the practice. They also have a 24 hour hot line for emergency situations. I have very bad anxiety and they always me feel comfortab le and that my child gets the best care and treatment there is. I'm sure there's other great pediatricians out there I'm just speaking from personal experience. Good luck on your hunt.

My kids love Dr. Oscar so much that when he moved from the Gastonia office to the Belmont office my kids asked to switch to Belmont where he is at. My kids refuse to see anyone but him. Awww so nice to hear people caring for their pets. I have a senior as well and I've been taking her to the Animal clinic on Mutal street for 7 years now. Staff are great and feel like family. I've had to board my cat a few times (so difficult for me when I have to do this) but the techs email me updates/photos while I'm away. I don't have much to compare to but I know these guys really care.

St Clair veterinary is fantastic. My cat is also well into his senior years and they take great care of us. I actually worked at a cat clinic for 10 years and had difficulty finding a good vet I felt comfortable with after I moved, but I'm so happy where we are now.

On a 'do not consider' note... Stay away from Ron Pusong at Banks Animal Hospital.

I have three cats (see post history for cat tax) who are regular features at Woodbine Animal Clinic. One is a formerly severely overweight senior lady (adopted at 8 years old and 15 1/2 pounds, she's now a tiny 10 pounds!), a handsome young boy with urine crystal problems, and a tiny princess with bad teeth and a sensitive gut. They receive a good chunk of our $$$ for prescription food alone, never mind the costs of appointments when their issues flare up! The little turds are worth every penny though. They have never received anything less than stellar care at Woodbine and I wholeheartedly sing their praises to everyone in the neighbourhood. Their prices are reasonable and they're always upfront about how much things cost, theres never been any pressure pay for expensive treatments or tests that may not be entirely necessary (mentioning no names but my previous clinic was a little pushy in that area). Staff are always super friendly and are full of knowledge. Even if we move elsewhere in the city I can still see us keeping our guys registered here.

Dr. Amanda Low at Cabbagetown Pet Clinic. My sweet tortie Harley had all her remaining teeth out in March and Dr. Low's bedside manner was second to none. She LOVED Harley and Harley loved her. On her follow up visit 2 weeks after the extractions, she wouldn't get back in her crate, she wanted to be in Dr. Low's arms!

It's already been mentioned, but woodbine animal clinic is an exceptional establishment, espicially Dr. Littlejohn. They will give you very honest advice, and always have the animal's best interest at heart, even if said choice might be a hard one.

There is a cat only place at Kingston rd and Midland, my friend takes her cats there and loves it. They love cats there and even take some in to find them a nice home.

Dufferin Queen Animal Hospital, I have a 14 yr old dog and they have been helpful and understanding same with my two young cats. They also have 2 older rescue cats that live at the office and it’s very clear they are very well cared for.

Dundas West animal hospital has been fantastic for my cats. Very calm and informative.

Dr Young. Boardwalk animal clinic. It’s in the beaches but he is hands down the best vet and person I’ve ever met. I could go on and on about what he’s done for me in the past but then I’d be writing a book.:)

Bay Cat Dog Hospital at King and Sumach--they have a separate entrance and waiting room (plus consult rooms) for cats and dogs. They started as a cat only hospital, have excellent facilities, excellent vets, and are still well priced. I like them because they are passionate about what they do, but they won't push any unnecessary treatments--they are the only vets who were able to help me get my cats weight down without causing him to feel like he's suffering.

My husband loves him! He had a heart attack when he was 36 and found Dr Anthony through a friend. He is a GP with a specialty in cardiology. Hubs is turning 50 this year and is pretty hard to keep up with, lol! How is that for a review!

Have you tried Carmont Internal Medicine? They have male and female doctors there. I have a female and my husband has a male doctor.

My hubby sees the PA at Anthony Medical Clinic and likes him a lot.

The doctors at Bessemer City family medicine is good. And they DONT push pills.

South Point Family Practice in Belmont...either Dr Andrew Dyksterhouse or Dr Houston Cutshaw! I love these drs. They take their time with their patients and listen to what they say.

6 years ago i went to Dallas family medicine and they prescribed it yup me. At the time i was 267 pounds so there was no hesitation to prescribe it to me. I had Medicaid and the medicine wasn't covered but it cost like 40 bucks at Wal-Mart for a month prescription. It is an appetite suppressant and it made me feel like i couldn't eat. If i ate i had a sick feeling and i was forcing myself to eat. I stopped taking it and dropped 60 pounds on my own over time.

I took it too but not much. Dr. Villareal at Internal Medicine by the hospital.

I love Dr Schenck in Gastonia. He is off Garrison. There is also one across from that ER in Steele creek. He is a caromont and is connected to an urgent care. I cant remember his name but he is good.
