Can anyone recommend a good spa for a man to get both a massage and male-specific pedicure? My husband is running a half marathon in May, and I want to treat him after...
Denise E. replied:
Not Massage Envy. I asked about using ice due to some inflammation and they only offered heat. I would look into a PT place that does sports massage for recovery over a massage place.
Tamara H. replied:
Massage I don't know. But my nail person Lin, I have been going to for 10 years. She does both paws and claws for men. Salon Agape. Tiffany Lewis Skin Care does have a massage therapist but I know nothing about her.

Hi, Ruthie, I can help with the massage. I am a licensed professional massage therapist. I work out of my home on the east side of Batavia. You can read reviews from my clients on my website www.bataviamassage.com

ISO a day spa experience that is close by. Any suggestions???

I went to the Kohler Spa in Burr Ridge. It was absolutely amazing and worth the 45 minute drive. It is a full day spa located in a gorgeous outdoor shopping mall, and you have the full day regardless of the treatment you do. You can leave and go get lunch or do some shopping and even come back after to continue to enjoy the relaxation room and "circle of tranquility". If you go, I highly recommend "Lavender Rain". It was absolutely incredible!!!

N Nail in Geneva, they do an awesome pedicure and they rub your shoulders while your nails are drying
Katie D. replied:
Luxury Nails in Geneva at Fargo and Randall Road, they are right by the 7/11. They are my favorite place, they do a lot of massage during a pedicure, for just the base level pedicure they used a hot stone on my feet! They are always very thorough, and fairly priced!
