Essential oil blend of rosemary and peppermint. Shop at Green Envee in Geneva for a pre-made blend. I get really bad migraines, and I have a prescription for Rizatriptan, but I hate taking meds any more than I have to. If I apply this oil to my temples and forehead when I feel a migraine coming on, 9 times out of 10 I can avoid one altogether.

I've had 24-7 head pain after suffering from a hemorrhagic stroke 3 years ago and while it's not exactly a migraine, it mimics one pretty well...I'm on maintenance meds, but it never goes away so this is what works for me when it gets bad. Tiger Balm on my forehead and neck, and I have a heavy eye mask that can be frozen or heated up...I choose heat...cold doesn't work as well for me. The heat on the head seems to help calm it down, and the heaviness from the mask gives darkness and a little pressure that helps as well. And stay hydrated!! Hope you feel some relief...it's no fun!
I want to get my mom a facial, maybe a facial/massage package for Christmas in a reputable salon or spa. I'm a college student, so my budget is tight. Her main goals...

If you're tight on money, a school may be the route you want to take. You get more for your money because the students need to practice before they get their license. There's a Tricoci Esthetic school in Elgin. Here is a list of services they offer & the price. I went to the Tricoci in Libertyville for the Esthetic program. A facial with an added back treatment was always my favorite. https://www.tricociuniversity.edu/elgin-esthetics-menu/
