We had the same scenario when we moved here in August. My daughter had an abscess and needed an extraction. We saw Dr. Janis and was very very impressed! (We did not see an oral surgeon he took care of the antibiotics and extraction...) Unfortunately our dental insurance has since changed so we can no longer see him. Super disappointed!

Not sure what happened. I would recommend you to Oral Surgeon Dr. William Perkinson of Aurora Dental Specialists. They may be closed today, but call the office and get the emergency number. Call it, tell them situation and Dr. Perkinson will call you back and direct you accordingly. Not only is he an excellent oral surgeon, he understands working w/young children as he has children himself. Tell him I referred you. He's a very close friend of mine.
