Chem Wise. They are great and come back for free if you have any issues between treatments. Also, pet friendly.

Disclaimer: No idea what local/county/state regs are on this. I sure hope it's ok to take care of your own property though. This is what I did with my old home, though out of state. Found a guide to IL pest control, linked below. Do it yourself. Honest, not hard. Call the local pest control companies and ask what chemical(s) they use for your particular pests. They SHOULD tell you, but if not, there are plenty of guides online. You can research what is safe and effective. I'm sure IL has a list of approved, or at least banned, insecticides somewhere. EDIT: My former company used Demand CS. It worked great for us. You can purchase any number of pesticides on Amazon (I'm sure there are local shops too). A set of pesticide and pressure-pump sprayer is like $50, and that should be enough spray for multiple applications. Unless you have a particular situation that requires special handling, or your spraying isn't taking care of the problem, self-spraying should be more than enough to manage insects at home. http://www.dph.illinois.gov/sites/default/files/publications/general-standards-manual-structural-pest-control-11272013-041116.pdf
