I know you said gtown or round rock however, my son required surgery and we went to Dr Connolly in Austin. Great ENT! What I liked even more was once my son was in surgery the doctor noticed how extensive the surgery was going to be. He wasn't afraid to tell us he wanted another specialist to do it and referred us to Dr Kemper also in Austin who immediately got us in and took care of it. These are my two favorite ENTs in the area.
Cindy M. replied:
We also drove to Austin to see Dr.Connolly (referred to us by Dr.Kelley my son's palate surgeon) he did my son's ear tubes and my daughter's tonsils. Stay away from Dr.Tamez!! You can find old reviews on yelp. I went there to his old office to get my son's earwax removed and he said my son needed surgery and chances were our whole family needed surgery too. I went to Dr.Connolly a couple weeks after and he confirmed my suspicions and there was nothing wrong with my son.

Oh boo! I had mine done at 19! We have used Dr. Martin at S&W RR, but he recently moved to the Temple location. Have seen his replacement in RR, but not used him for surgery.

Another vote for Dr. Scholl… He is excellent. He took Rachel's out last summer. It was a very long 10 days of recovery though… It's tough once that are older than about 10 years old

Dr. Scott Franklin at www.georgetown-ent.com Took my now 11 year-old son here when he kept getting ear infections in Kindergarten, he's been free of them ever since.
Going to try to find a doctor willing to work with payments for my daughters medical issues. Can anyone recommend an ENT nearby? We have United Healthcare.
Brooke R. replied:
Our first doc was Dr. Franklin. He was great. But they couldn't work with payments...
Sherri K. replied:
Oh glad you left Dr. Franklin...I was about to warn you about him. He's a real jerk....or at least he was to me (read my Yelp review). Tamez is a nice fellow but likes to prescribe a lot of stuff (7 prescriptions for my daughter after we just asked him to evaluate her jaw for ear pain. She didn't take any of them. She grew out of it.) But it might be worth contacting Tamez-ent.com in Round rock just in case they could work with you.
Marie H. replied:
My daughter saw Franklin. He has a horrible bedside manner. We ended up at Capital Otolaryngology in North Austin with Dr. Chung-Phillips. She was amazing and they do payment plans I believe.
Looking for recommendations for a ENT provider, preferably locally but will travel for a good doctor---- for a 10 year old
Stephanie M. replied:
Dr. Peter Scholl. He's in Round Rock and Austin. He's the best!

Dr Franklin is awesome!
Kimberly H. replied:
My kiddo has had very chronic sinus issues (has had 6 sinus surgeries). I prefer a pediatric ENT and always loved Dr. Connolly. We went through a few before I found one I really liked. Dr. Franklin was nice enough, but after a pre-op appt,, decided my daughter was too complicated for him. I'm glad he owned it and didn't operate if not comfortable! It was stressful because had to start over with new ENT.

Nicole F. replied:
Pediatric ENT/surgeon, Dr. Patrick Connolly is the very best! My 14 year old has been seeing him since he was 3 years old.
Jonathan G. replied:
I second Dr Connolly. When my child had some big issues I did lots of research for the best children's Ent and I wasn't disappointed. Then we he had serious issues and needed reconstructive surgery Dr Connolly referred us to a ear only specialist Dr Kemper who again didn't disappoint. Both of these doctors are in austin but I'd gladly travel to see them again.
