I used to work at Christian Kids and would never send my kids there! Behind the scenes they care so much more about the numbers than the kids. Plus I saw a ton of yelling at kids and teachers not even getting in trouble for it- like it was normal..

There are a couple of homes in the area that are good. How old is your child? The closest center I could recommend is Highland Education Center for Kids but they watch a lot of TV and don't start until age 2. Holy Family is OK but they also do a lot of TV and I think start at age 1. Highland Community Ministries takes infants and is also good, very expensive for the type of care and the Cherokee location has tiny, tiny classrooms but the playground is awesome. The Bardstown Road location has better facilities. We toured Kiddie Kampus twice and then I reported them to licensing, the second time was not any better, I am not sure how they are still open. Germantown Childcare I have not toured but know of 2 families that started and left. Kindercare on Newburg is good, I think they still have a long waiting list.

Sorry but Germantown Child Care is a NO.... As a former employee I would not even send my own child there while I was working there. The teachers are not certified in anything... They went through 2 directors while I was there and State was called 3 x all in the 4 months I worked there. A lot of overturns in employees and kids. Good Luck.

Covenant United Methodist in Montgomery Village. This is our 4 th year there. My first went for 3 years starting at 2 and now my second is there. The Terrific Two's is awesome. Reasonably priced too.

Dianna and I went door to door last night and got 16 signatures in favor of the Daycare from residents who live nearby. Steve Magre is using it Tuesday at a zoning meeting. He might be able to use this page if enough people post in favor.
