Who here files 1099 for taxes?
Where do you go to do so? Is it an arm and leg to file 1099 through h&r block? Or places of the sort?
Heather G. replied:
We use a tax guy in Gilbert. His name is Roger Lamberson. Very knowledgeable AND very reasonable on fees. NOT like H&R block. H&R was 3 x the amount of what he charged us. We had a lot of forms one year because my husband was a contractor outside the country the previous year and half his income was in one year and the other half was in part of another year. Very difficult and not something we were confident to do on our own. https://m.facebook.com/RogerLambersonPLC

Are you going to get a 1099 and need your taxes done or do you need to issue 1099 s to others? Either way I can help you out. Our fees are probably $125-$150 depending on what forms need to be filed on your return plus how much work goes into filing them. Give us a call at 480-868-2933 and I can answer any questions you have. Whatever you do don't go to the big guys. They rip you off and most of the time don't have a clue what they're doing.

My husband and I are self employed and file our own taxes using either Taxact or Turbotax. H&R Block charges too much in my opinion.
