https://www.yelp.com/biz/elite-appliance-repair-glendale I have had two experiences with them, both which resulted in having to replace the appliance as the repair costs were just south of the price of a new one. So keep in mind how old that refrigerator is. On the other hand with the state of shipping you might not be able to get a replacement in a reasonable time.

There are appliance repair companies still? I thought that was what YouTube was for! I have used Goldwing Appliance in the distant past for a washer repair, but the tech was my neighbor at the time and I see they now have tons of mixed reviews. When my ice maker went out on my fridge I didn't even bother with a repairman as we had already gone through the runaround with our previous model while under warranty. They either work or they don't and repairing is time consuming and often worthless. I just bought a standalone one that met my family's needs and it is still going strong.

If it's an LG, there is a class action for refridges that stopped working. Calling the manufacturer should be able to give you names of local companies.

We have used e&j appliance once before. It was for an LG top loader. He basically came out and said the motherboard was toast. $70 service fee. He quoted me $500. I watched him and sent him on his way. Ordered the $120 part from Amazon and fixed it in 15 min. If you are handy, there is also an appliance parts store, APCO, south of Kyrene and Guadalupe in Tempe.

Phoenix appliance repair (602) 330-6920 I just had my fridge fixed and he looked at the dishwasher too. Told me the dishwasher costs more to fix than replace (that terrible planned obscolesence ). The price was fair. If it added years of life to the fridge and keeps it out of the landfill, I am happy
