However much you may empathise with their very real predicament, the only way to help your Dad is to PUSH them. Also arrange a meeting with your MP.

Mary Lockhart it might not be ideal but there is a lovely group in Blairhall community centre called Blether Together for the elderly. It's run by 'recycled young ones' for slightly older and less able. They meet on a Monday. Home made lunch, games ( age appropriate) sing along & a good blether. If you thought it was any good I'd get you more info.
