Amy Pugh I'm getting my dress from By Design on Westgate St - Sarah was wonderfully helpful and patient, and they have a great selection of different price ranges and styles. There was no pressure and it definitely took some of the stress out of making decisions!
Just found out the person who was meant to be doing my bridal hair is not working in the industry anymore. Now looking for recommendations, thanks in advance

Hello, I've been a wedding photographer for around 2 years - I've kept my prices down as I didn't want to charge too much as I was still...
Oliver R. replied:
I have just booked one and the average price was £950, but this really depends on how good the photos are. The quality at this price was really good, then anything over £1500 was better again. This gives you an idea of the quality of photos you get for around £1000 http://www.nataliemartinphoto.com/

Michaela Jay The problem with trying to make a career as a wedding photographer is, and I mean no offence by this, people like yourself who are offering a very similar service but subsidising it with the "day job". Don't get me wrong, we all have to start somewhere but there are so many people competing in the market now that prices have been suppressed to the point that it's difficult to charge a realistic hourly rate to make a living at it and if you do you'll constantly be told that clients have been offered the same for just £250 including all the images digitally. Personally I have moved away from the normal wedding photography largely for this reason as my career is a full time photographer.
