For future reference found a couple more sites http://www.catnutrition.org/ & http://fnae.org/ I wonder if there's a way they could be pinned to the top of the group?
Diane L. replied:
I would also recommend Natural Instinct or Nutriment. Both essentially the same thing and ideal for allergies. Personally I wouldn't feed any sort if dry food on its own to a cat with allergies. James Wellbeloved changed formula a few years ago and my cat started having terrible squits on it.

A good transition is from grain free kibble to canned/soft to raw. Catinfo.org is a fantastic website to get you started!

Get care credit and act fast, im not sure if your saving the eye or already having it removed. But eyes are very quickly to turn from ok to worse! Dr. Beordoulay is an animal eye dr. In newport news, you need a referral to see him, it wont be cheap but you may save the eye depending on the condition.

Colony Veterinary in Newport News, offers a," care card", method of payment. It is a credit card they suggested that you can pay on for services needed. If you can pay it off by a certain time, there is no interest. It sure is nice to pay for animal care that way. I can not pay the entire balance at the visit, when you don't have any idea what to expect the charges to be. Vet's are expensive.
Jenifer P. replied:
The Norfolk SPCA has an amazing clinic. They are non profit and their prices are generally half, if not less than surrounding vet offices. They take care credit too.
Anne W. replied:
Most vets take care credit. You can go online to carecredit.com and apply. Go fund me takes 20% of the donations you get. Not sure if one of the other crowd funding sites might be better.
Kingsway Veterinary Centre are lovely. Don't need an appt, they have open sessions mornings and evenings.

Companion Care in Pets At Home. Our 3 month old pup has just had an op here and the quality of care is outstanding, all the pets Ive seen go there are made to feel special. Also a lot cheaper than other vets.
Vickie C. replied:
Companion Care in Pets At Home. Nothing to do with the store, they are a separate company, cheaper than most vets, open longer hours inc. weekends so not much need for out-of-hours calls, and their service is outstanding.

Ask about Indigent Health Care or Mercy or Charity programs. Sometimes help is closer than you think. If she's on fixed income, she may well qualify. Tooth is a dental emergency. These programs have saved me about $75,000 in Med Bills.
Denise T. replied:
Rene Creasy have you checked with the medical portion of her insurance to see if it can be classified as an "emergency" as Will said above.
