Sherwood Forrest is super expensive. Cypress lakes is now open 7 days a week.

Dr. Andermann at Andermann Animal Clinic. Love her! We had a kitten that got caught under our recliner & she cut her neck, could barely breathe.. We took her to Dr. Andermann, she got her fixed her real good, gave some antibiotics & within a few days, she was doing much much better. ❤️ She told us when we went to get the stitches taken out that she looked like a whole new cat.

Dr Luikhart at Galvez Vet Clinic loved my furbabies like her own for their entire lives. Unfortunately we just lost them to old age, but she was amazing and I couldn't recommend anyone better.

Ascension Animal Hospital on 15633 Airline Highway. Next to post office .very good doctors that will explain to detail .I take my dog there.

Dr. Breaux! My furbabies have been patients of Dr Breaux for well over 20 yrs. Hours are 7:30-12 (does surgeries from 12 til close) It is first come first serve so it's best to get there early. Most reasonable prices too.

We've used Azalea Lakes Vet for 11 yrs. Not in Ascension, but they're just into B.R. and Idk how much. Haven't done that in 10+ yrs. http://www.azalealakesvetclinic.com/

For that you shouldn't have to wait at Dr Breaux's. Just drop off & pick up - the same you'd do at any other vet.

LSU vet school does a Spay day every few months where they neuter/ spay your cat for a small fee! Cat haven hosts it. You can see the dates on their website. I just recently had my cat spayed there and it was perfect!:)

The cat has to be up to date on shots for most vets to spay/neuter. If it is up to date on shots you should be able to just make an apt and drop off. I use Dr Breaux, he is the least expensive. I get there around 7:15, they open at 7:30 and I usually don't have to wait very long. Males are $50, females are a little more.

I have no info on the others listed, but I brought my dog to the Sherwood ER a couple weeks ago at 3 AM and they were exactly what I'd want out of an animal ER.

Sherwood Forest Animal Hospital still provides the same emergency veterinary services that they always have. They have great vets, and I would highly recommend them.

I’ve been to the one in Broadmoor and they were okay. Brought two cats there after the flood when they caught a cold from a visiting cat. Kept one overnight since he was the sicker one and ran a few tests on them, and gave me pills for the both of them, both recovered. Think i got whacked with a $6-800 bill. Up front on costs

Cypress Lake Animal Hospital in Prairieville is open every day of the week and Dr. Kristen is the best around.

LSU is ok in a bind. The students work alongside docs so your pet will get decent care. You will pay out the ass for it. Unbelievable costs there. If any procedure is needed it starts at $5 k almost every time

Dodge City Vet Hospital in Denham does emergencies, and usually at a better pice than the other emergency hospitals.

Anderman is great and very friendly. You can make appointments. Dr Breaux is straight to the point and the cheapest you will find. Only downfall is its walk ins from 7 to 12 only.

Dr Griffith is the best in town. Staff is awesome

FYI- Cypress Lakes turned me away when my dog was dying. We had just moved here and weren’t patients. I had to go to Sherwood Forest vet hospital and they were amazing.

Love Sherwood South Animal Hospital........I had to bring my Yorkie there in the very early mornings a few times. I mean like 2:00 and 3:00 A.M. There is always someone on call.......

Dr Breaux opens at 7:30 am-12 pm for office visits, first come first serve, after 12 pm he is doing surgeries. Love Dr Breaux and his staff, I’ve been using him for over 30 yrs. I have many rescues so I’m there frequently. Sherwood Animal Hospital is an after hours Clinic but WAY overpriced. I think there are some newer local clinics that have later hours. Good luck, I hope your fur baby gets better.

I've never been anywhere else but Dr Breaux's parking lot is always full. He's good, reasonably priced, but always busy.

We use Dr Breaux... he has great prices and I love their staff. Only thing is, its walk in only, and it has to be between 7:30-12:00. They are open until 1:00 on Saturdays though.

We've always used Dr Breaux. But plan to be there on a Saturday morning at 6:30 for a decent spot to wait for him to open. They take forever if you just walk in during the morning. He is great and very reasonable.

I would clean it's eyes with warm water get as clean as you can and bring it to the vet in the am. If you go to Sherwood Vet they will charge you a arm and leg. Do the best you can tonight. Feed it good give it a warm bed and bring it to Denham Spring Animal in the am. PRAYERS for that poor lil baby Thank you for saving it.:)
