Funny you should mention Mark Harrington, he did an inspection on a house I was renting and let my daughters dog outside to run down the mountain, turned on and left on floor heaters that had a pillow on them, which could have started a fire, broke a stone cat that was the first gift my husband ever gave me 20 years ago, and when I asked him why couldn't he have contacted me about my daughters dog, he stepped very close to me, I guess to intimidate this woman who he saw as someone beneath him. I had tried to get his name to place a complaint, but no one thought my family was important because we are just local renters.

And fyi, inspectors aren't "licensed". But either Jim Schoenherr or Ben Sittig (Tiger Inspections).

I am a certified master inspector, trained at American Home Inspection Training Institute out of Wisconsin. I did my schooling at Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, Mo. as stated earlier, no liscence is required in Colorado yet. To be honest, no formal training is required in state's with no liscence requirement. Potential buyers should consult the ASHI website for inspectors in your area, enter your zip in search box and local inspectors info will come up. If you would like an estimate on inspecting the home in question, my number is 417-234-7488. I live up the Troublesome valley just north of Kremmling and have a very flexible schedule. Thanks.
