When we moved to Granby in December our pediatrician told us some parts of Granby have very high levels of fluoride in well water that occur naturally. We had it tested through UConn...costs $20. Here is the link. http://www.pdcofavon.com/Fluoride%20Test%20Kit%20Information.doc

I would advise doing research on it. My former dentist was against it and testified on Capitol Hill about the dangers of fluoride. http://fluoridealert.org/articles/50-reasons/

I can't say enough about Dr. Howlett with East Granby Family Practice. We were hesitant about sending our 26 weeker preemie to him because of our sons extensive hospital stay but he is INCREDIBLE! I knew he was the "one" when I called concerned about a cough. He was on his way out of the office for a big meeting when he got the call from us, but waited up for us to come. All dressed up in a tux he saw our son (who then proceeded to spit up all over him). That showed me how devoted he is to his patients. It turned out to be nothing, but he was there when we needed him:) We also moved our now 3 year old there from another practice when he was 1, and have never looked back!

Dr. Schuck at Pedicorp. Absolutely the best.

He has a partner Dr Chaput. By the time she joined the practice my daughter was old enough to go in by herself so from less interaction she was nice.

Dr. Pericat, Dr. Ladenheim, or Dr. Sabo at Simsbury Pediatrics. They are excellent!

Dr ST Onge, in Avon. She is beyond wonderful.

I never had an issues with the care my children received. But back then the wait times were extremely long, even for appointments that had been scheduled far in advance. Not sure if that still occurs

Simsbury Pediatrics. We use Dr. Pericat. Absolutely knows what it's like to have kids that age and will take whatever time you need. Amazing! We've seen everyone at one time or another and you can always get in for sick visits, you can speak with the on call doctor on the weekend if need be, etc.

East Granby family practice is horrible. I would also avoid Dr Calnen in Enfield as he is even worse. We are currently going to Enfield, my girls (3 and 5) have both been seeing Dr Wilner and she seems to be awesome!

I will put in another vote for the East Granby Family Practice. Dr. Freedman is wonderful with my two teens, a boy and a girl, and I have liked all the other docs I have met from the practice.

Another vote for Dr. Howlett at East Granby Family Practice. Even my 26 weeker preemie sees him. He's nothing short of amazing. I wasn't sure he'd be the best fit because of my son's rough beginning but I just knew he was "the one" at his first appointment. In fact, everyone at East Granby Family Practice is wonderful, when Howletts booked my oldest (3) sees Freedman, and again, wonderful!

Michelle Twigg, CT Multi Specialty Group, Granby. She was great with our daughter growing up and she is my physician. You couldn't ask for a better doctor.

We just went to Kids Dental Care in Windsor, and they were unbelievable. Highly recommend, even for anxious kids!

Maryam Azadphur in Simsbury - fabulous pediatric dentist. Mike Williams in Simsbury can do both and is excellent. I love my PCP and the whole group at CMG in Granby (Kupracz is great) and we use Anne Marie Villa in Enfield for 14 years as our Pediatrician. Absolutely the best.

We use Simsbury pediatrics (Dr Sabo & Dr Sloane) and Dr Christie at CMG for PCP, they are all great.

My husbands family had Dr. Connor, they love him......we had the D'Angelo brothers.

Dr Connor delivered me as well, May 1953. Remember very clearly going into his office not feeling well, he would give you a hug and you would instantly feel better.

My doctor was Dr. Stetson. Any have him?

My kids doctor was Dr. Skarvinko...great guy...good to my grandkids too...

Oh yes and Dr, Stetson.

Dr. Conner was the best. He lived across the street from me.

Dr. Conner delivered my husband, 1954.. Remember his bow tie???Yes he did make house calls. Didn't even have a nurse in his office, he just opened the door to waiting room and said "next".

I love East Granby Family practice in east Granby. Been with them for 28 yrs and two children. Although not pediatricians, family Drs follow them through adulthood! All the Drs there are great!

We love Simsbury Pediatrics! Dr Sabo for my boys and Dr Sloan for my teenage daughter.
