Costco is good for pricing and they don't try to sell a bunch of add ons like the other national chains do. I've done ok with R&N as they matched price from competitor and they are local. You can check tire reviews on tire rack.com I've bought snow tires (nokian hakkapellitas) for my Honda Accord on eBay and had R&N mount them.

Town Fair Tire beat Costco's price and had them in stock, so no waiting for them (Costco) to order. Michelin LTX tires. I'm very happy with them!
