Give Doug Max a call. He came out to assess some of the trees that we wanted pruned and others that we wanted taken down. He showed us that one of our maples was strangling itself so we had him take that one down as well. Sure enough - you could see where the tree was starting to rot on the inside. The tree looked healthy to us, but obviously wasn't.
