I received my insurance information from Rocky Mountain HMO, Hooray! It appears that my next step is to find a primary care physician. It has been many, many years...
Sarah K. replied:
I wish you luck on that one..closest I came was a guy named Charles Nowak
Donna M. replied:
I like Dr. Joshua Campbell at Primary Care Partners. He's young and both he and his staff are helpful, thorough, and compassionate.
Tricia T. replied:
We go to John Flanigan at primary care, Josh Campbell is good. His wife and Kate pierce at juniper family med is good if you want a smaller one...
John K. replied:
Yelp.com may have ratings on GJ doctors...
Jessica D. replied:
Juniper family medicine on White is great. I see Dr Campbell and she took the time to get to know me. I like the small office too.
Joanie L. replied:
Stephanie Shrago at Primary Care Partners is great. She is very down to earth.
Kristy P. replied:
I use the same office as Jessica. Juniper Family. Three female physicians, I know at least 2 are part time and working moms. Their focus is prevention, in other words how to stay healthy so you need them less:). I've been very pleased w/ their practice and I see Ann Nedervelt.
Recommendations for a primary care physician in Grand Junction that may be taking new patients?
Bella O. replied:
Dr. Campbell (either) or Dr. Common!
Kathy B. replied:
I see Dr Stroh, as well. She's great but it's a small practice. Not sure she works Monday - Friday.
Dawn S. replied:
Dr. Jennifer Stroh
Lisa B. replied:
I go to Jennifer Copeland at GVPC and I love her. Hope to get my daughter Lindsay in with her as well.
Megan S. replied:
Dr. Nowak great doc and family friend.
Ronda S. replied:
Dr. Flanagan, at PCP. Great guy.
Theresa M. replied:
I'm assuming you are looking for yourself. My recommendation is Dr. Scott Rollins. Knowing how you look at your health and your diet, Dr. Rollins is one of the very few doctors in town who follows an integrated medicine model and realizes that food is the source of many of the health related ills today. He will only take new patients in his Grand Junction office as his Collbran office is full. He does not take insurance but as long as you have an insurance plan where you can turn in your own paperwork for reimbursement, they provide you with what you need to do that. He is one of the few MD's in town who truly operates from the principal of not treating symptoms but finding the source of whatever is going on with people. I have so many incredible stories of peoples lives who were brought back to health and wholeness it would take me all day. Everyone of our family members sees him except for our grandbabies. Dr. Rollins works with my Naturopathic M.D. in Arizona and I love that about him because he is into the entire focus of medicine, not just one side. Let me know if you want more info. Terri A. replied:

Dear new Ward family. We are so excited to be a part of this Ward!
As we move here, we are bringing some complicated medical conditions, and would REALLY REALLY...
Kari W. replied:
We use Dr. Benefield at Grand Dental, and Valley Vision.
Molly H. replied:
Primary Care Partners has a lot of GPs in their 2 different practices that are in the same building, which helps get you into a doctor right when you need it (once enrolled) and they also have a "Docs on Call" program for your after-hours medical needs.
Nancy F. replied:
Dr. Matt Hudson for dentist and Dr. Parker Call for vision. That's who I'd recommend.
