I love my doctor. Ben Schipper with Spectrum. Their number is 391-4500. He remembers everything about us each time we go in. We never have to wait very long. They never make you feel rushed.

I think Hailey had Dr Schafer from GR Allergy, she was good.
Jodi V. replied:
Eli goes to Dr. Dubravec too! He is a wonderful doctor and has great staff.
Karri R. replied:
Been to both the gr one and Dr Dubravec in Cadillac. The gr one is easier and quicker to get in to. Just question what they do. They put Reese through tons. Too much and he didn't need some of it. Just wish I would've spoke up and said no. Anyway. Nice staff and drs. But I go to Dr Dubravec and so does Riley. That's where Reese will go next if needed. Best of luck
Donelle G. replied:
I see Dr Lazar in Cadillac (not sure if spelling is right) he is awesome I see children there when I go- he supports holistic alternatives and is very nice and good with patients - he has a good bedside manner and is up to date on new treatments
Allergists in Grand Rapids Hi there,

I was a patient of Allergy Associates of Western Michigan and have no complaints about my time as a patient. Friendly doctors, nurses and office staff. [https://www.allergywestmi.com/](https://www.allergywestmi.com/)
misrae replied:
Grand Rapids Allergy on Parchment. Look into rush immunotherapy. You spend a day in office getting spaced out allergy shots but it can give results very quickly.
bingobanggo replied:
Both the previous commenters have offered great options. I would also suggest Dr. Vicent Dubravec at Allergy/Asthma Specialists. He is fantastic.
strangeXpowers replied:
I went to Michigan ENT and Allergy's Grandville office. Though I did sublingual immunotherapy instead of shots since I didn't want to go to the office regularly. Three years ago I was allergic to dogs, and now my pup is sleeping soundly next to me as I write this, so I'd say it was well worth it. My doctor was Alecia Kovatch whom I highly recommend it.
A grkids.com reader Jane asks, "I'd like recommendations for a good allergist in the Grand Rapids area. I need to take my 8 year old to one to be tested"

I second Dr. Eukert at Grand Rapids Allergy. Both of my kids (2 and 5) see her as well as my husband.
Tammy H. replied:
West Michigan Allergy and Asthma. Dr Millar is great with kids.
Heather W. replied:
Grand Rapids allergy. I used to work there, excellent doctors to work for and I have taken my own children to Dr uekert. You won't go wrong with Dr uekert or Dr Schafer!
Heather M. replied:
Dr Shaffer.
Michelle V. replied:
Dr. Gell/Eukert
Jill R. replied:
Dr. Eukert at GR allergy. My son was first tested as a 4 year old and they were amazingly patient and compassionate with us. He has had a few systemic reactions to the injections and they have gotten us through those as well. We have been very happy there.
Michelle S. replied:
Dr. Brooke on Beltline
Jessica J. replied:
My son sees Dr. Millar and he has been fantastic!!
My poor Connor is having such bad allergies, I am thinking we may have to look for an allergist!
Ant recommendations?
Tennille M. replied:
Dr Schaeffer on cascade
Kristine B. replied:
Dr. Christine Schaffer in Cascade! We've been going for about 6 years. Thomas no longer needs shots!!!!!! And he was allergic to ever tree, grass, and dust mite!
Candice B. replied:
Yes, Dr. Nancy Brooke. Dr. Brooke has children with allergies, so she understands things from both sides.
Our allergist is retiring at the end of February. Since my kiddos don't seem to be growing out of their food allergies, we will need a new one.
I really just want one...
Corban D. replied:
I went to Dr. Hutson in my mid-20 s when I developed seasonal allergies. I agree with Traci, she's great.
Allergies have me exhausted, congested, coughing, and my ear is now cracking from the pressure. Any good allergist recommendations? I may restart immunotherapy if that...
