Let me ask my friend Suzette McGraw Price she works for the American Legion, she is in ohio now but she knows of a specialist in michigan or hopefully she will see that she was tagged in this comment and that she can help, also consider going to the service organization that advocates on your behalf to the VA in regards to your issue, god our imaginary friend can only help so much, I also recommend Yoga !

I went to Dr. Grof he did an excellent job at testing the nerve damage (which was a lot) in both of my legs and back. He's at 44 th and Kalamazoo.

Get an EMG to test the amount of nerve damage, I went through the ortho office at 1300 Michigan and saw Dr Lovell he's awesome he also did my elbows and bilateral carpal tunnel surgeries. And also my knee scope and meniscus repair.
Holly H. replied:
^ ummm..an EMG is a test used to see if there is true muscle weakness or decreased movement due to pain/lack of motivation. .. And NCV is the one that tests for damages of the nerves. Both can be done at a GPs office. Jesse Pahman: rheumatology would honestly be the next step if it is arthritis..there's 2 types that I remember causing parasthesia...rheumatoid and psoratic (sp??).. Still take the consult to neuro. The other always do a consult with neuro anyway
