It's a great program for getting back into a healthier lifestyle. Level 1 includes a meal plan and 4 workouts a week in a super supportive and encouraging atmosphere. I did Life Change last year starting in March and have been attending some of their other fitness classes ever since. I cannot recommend them enough!

Start off spotting for anyone in the gym. After a week. Start talking to them. Another week. You'll have the confidence to start asking questions on diet, protein supplements and possible workout routine. Yet continue spotting all the while. Week 4 comes. Start some cardio. The Suzanne Summers thigh master as well. Remember to maintain eye contact with someone you maybe interested in. As you work on those thighs. This is a critical moment. Many people would have quit by now. Not you. Because your wiser, you know what is invested, your eating would have gone healthier. Made many great contacts. If your still into it. Then jump in balls to the wall and start a lean mean fitness regime. Or you could just quit and do yoga, some cardio. If Your not interested in becoming the female version Arnold. Good luck.

Adèle, you should contact Laura Hancharuk at the college, every year she looks for volunteers for the final practicum for the Fitness Leadership diploma students. It's free and they get graded on it so they really put all their effort into it. It's on ly for a few months, but it may help him get started with a plan and if he wants to move towards joining a program at a gym, at least he will know what he's getting into before spending lots of money. smile emoticon

I go to Tanner at Anytime Fitness. I do the half hour sessions because it's much cheaper, but she still puts you to work for that full half hour. I like anytime fitness because it's smaller and not too busy.

I'd highly recommend Frances Hart above. She can work with whatever injuries you have as well as CARE! She will celebrate every one of your successes along the way. THE most caring trainer I've ever known. I won't go anywhere but her gym. She's in it 100% for you and nothing else.
