I had the exact same issue. Then, I finally got 2 quotes. I will try to remember the name of the GOOD company. The BAD company took the quote they gave me and invoiced me for it, even though I ended up going with someone else! I actually had to prove to them that they didn't do the work, as they were adamant. So disorganized. Then they realized they had "accidentally" turned my quote into an invoice, at which point I received an apology. Give me a few minutes and I'll let you know who gave us a reasonable quote and did the work for us.
