I don't know anyone who may be able to help with your truck issues but I do know a service that might be able to help you get to your appointment in Edmonton! Check out https://www.facebook.com/229285024114727 Angel Flight Alberta ! It's Worth a shot to see if they can transport you to your appointment! Good luck!

Wires needs to be cut and then joined again with heat shrink crimped connectors, this will be good permanent fix costing less than $100. Some oxygen sensors are even cheaper than that (need VIN to get a quote), but the sensor might be seized and hard to remove so there won't be any savings anyway. www.abautomotive.ca

Ask for a referral to health pointe clinic in Edmonton. A team of doctors check you over and give you all your options. I saw them for my back and they didn't mess around. I wish you some relief, back pain suck a@@http://www.healthpointe.com/
Was wondering about people's experiences; good or bad, with orthopaedic surgeons in grande prairie .. Am waiting for a referral for a fairly extensive knee procedure, my...

It's worth going to Edmonton. Dr James was excellent, Dr Otto great, and my brother had Dr Reid but I think he restricts his patients to pro athletes now.
Wade K. replied:
For God sakes dont get it done in GP. Worst health care centre by far. Go to Edmonton. Trust me
Lana S. replied:
Good to hear this about Dr Wessels!
Lori A. replied:
Seconds on Dr. Denkema. He is a good surgeon but so is Dr. Wessels. You'd be in good hands with either.
Dawn H. replied:
Dr Akinbiyi is amazing! Worth waiting to see him...
Lois R. replied:
Dr Wessels did my husbands knee surgery and he's doing great!
Chastity R. replied:
Dr Akinbiyi is the best by far His wait list is long but worth it!!!
Justin R. replied:
I had surgery with Dr Wessels 3 times for my knee in 9 months. ACL replacement. I am not happy with the outcome, but I heard a lot of good things about Wessels. So I am going to go with no matter who would of done it, I still would of had complications. The pyhsio recommendations from the guy at the hospital were bullshit. Conflicted with the Dr's advice. If I were you, I would go to Europe! I think we have talked about your knee before, that is why I say that.
Jessica K. replied:
Dr Gordon Russell in Edmonton was really good!
Leslie K. replied:
I have had Dr Denkama. He is good.
Lydia C. replied:
A lot of the orthos here are overworked from what the people at the hospital were telling me. Had a consult with Dr. Wiens a few years ago and he seemed alright. And recently Dr. Akinbiyi removed the plate from my ankle, everything is as well as it can be.
Mitch B. replied:
I'm recovering right now from back surgery and Dr. Akinbiyi got me in fast and saved me from a long time of misery I've never met a doctor that cared as much as he does he is one of the greats in my opinion.
Barb L. replied:
I've had way too many knee surgeries but my first ACL repair was done in Edmonton and worst thing ever! He didn't put me in proper brace and had another surgery because of it then it didn't hold ended up having another ACL repair on same knee, surgery was in GP. Way better! Went to Dr. Wessels. He is great. He's done my last 2 and did my mom's shoulder. He's great.
I had posted before about recommendations for an excellent physiotherapist. I was told some places don't charge for the first few visits, does anyone know which places...
Jessica N. replied:
I second or third Nelson Cuff. He is amazing. I heard with some injuries it can be covered through AHS as well. If you are going through an insurance companies for a car accident make sure to talk to them too, I know when I was hit by a car the other persons insurance company offered to pay for my physio as well
Dawn B. replied:
Heads up physio is paid for following surgery/recovery, however once that runs out that when benefits kick in and if not than out of pocket. If I can help in any way it would he to direct you to Dr. Young out of the family medicine clinic on 84 th Ave. He is a podiatrist and has credentials..I had a ladder let go from under me and went thru he'll for the first 3 yrs following as the family doctors are NOT trained in this area, they know the basics but that's it.. Good luck on your road to healing, keep your chin up, you can do it as what doesn't kill us makes us stronger
Myrna S. replied:
^^^^ TRUE Janet at Access is the owner. She is the most amazing Physio ever....I try to tell people to believe in what she does and people get skeptical....but just wait Til you actually go...you will be amazed if you just let her do her thing. Any one I have ever sent to her has been very satisfied!!
Nessa L. replied:
I strongly recommend LifeMark. Nelson Cuff was fantastic. I'm also pretty sure your first appointment at least is covered by Alberta health
Carrie P. replied:
I strongly recommend Life Mark. I went for physio for months years ago and so much was covered by alberta health care then my husband's benefits covered the rest. I am not sure how many or if they cover visits now. I wish you all the best.
