DO. NOT. BUY. FOREIGN. CURRENCY. If going to Mexico just take your can. $ there. 99% of shops and restaurants, or taxi will take it and give you excellent change rate. Or chainge it at your hotel and get that days rate. You loose money changing it here. Same for Asian or European funds!

As a former travel consultant & owner, I recommend Marlin Travel, in Grande Prairie. Caroline has the most experience of anybody in or around GP. They are part of a group chain and will be there to help if you have any problems. Most travelers from here go to Puerto Vallarta. There may be a package that includes air fare & hotel right from GP. Or you can book flights & hotel or condo separately. Best to check with Marlin & they will give you some options & prices.
