Dr. Wenger I've heard is good. Dr. Capello and Dr. Brown both specialize in pediatric orthopedics. Both have treated my boy for sports related injuries. I also highly recommend if you don't mind a bit of a drive Dr. Conway, Dr. Bush and Dr. Blueitt. They are in the Ben Hogan bldg on the campus of THR Harris Methodist Fort Worth. Dr. Davey Suh, of DFW Foot and Ankle, near the Post Office off Morriss and 1171, as others have mentioned, is outstanding. My husband had tendon surgery from him after another local ortho made the problem MUCH worse with misdiagnosis; my son has been treated, me, as well as a gal pal. VERY good, professional, and always on time with appointments. Highly recommend him.

Dr Mary Crane in grapevine. She has helped a bunch of runners at my work and did bunion surgery on me. Everyone I know speaks very highly of her and she's a runner too.

Kim - I'm in the same position as you. I've had foot problems for over a year and I would like to run more 1/2 marathons. I went to Dr. Crane and still have the same problems. I think I might try Dr. Willenberg too.

@Jeanette...Dr Suy is an amazing surgeon...he did my foot surgery and did an amazing job. I don't feel he is as good at preventive care...he said it wasn't like I was going to change the way I walk or run.....when in fact I did. I took run on sports class and totally changed my walking and running form...no longer heel first. But for taking care of the problem after its there I highly recommend him.
