Truthfully Mitch Lalonde provides a lot of great information. I do agree with you. There are however a few stores i would truly like to see but would it happen with our population. ...most likely not. I do truly think a hotel would be great... but will someone risk all that money to find out it wouldn't work? Linette Filippini nailed it.... just because the stores that are in there aren't as big of names doesn't make it crappy. I learnt to realize that people tend to complain about something. .. doesn't matter how good we have it. I see someone said a Smiths would be nice, unfortunately we had a farmers market... people who have been around a while will remember. .. and it closed. ..which is clear that the community didn't support local...so i don't think Smiths would work. I'm sure everyone has a great idea as to who should be in the mall, but unfortunately it all goes down to the mighty dollar. Support local.

I know at one point there was talks of a hotel going up behind the Tim Hortons (of course, that may have been rumors as well). As Celeste mentionned, there is a motel that exists in Val Caron (The Sure Inn). In terms of a Wal Mart, I don't see them putting one here (we are 30,000 people but I believe they need more to make it viable). Might I add don't want a Wal Mart here either lol!
