Last week I was at a seminar at Wise Woman Wellness in Depere. The nurse there was fabulous and she spoke of many "alternative" options (I hate when they use the term alternative when we simply chose to NOT use artificial meds--ugg). Anyway, she mentioned a med called Armour Thyroid and said most of her patients felt better on this than on synthesis
Jenny A. replied:
I love Wise Woman Wellness. They offer many educational seminars that can give you good info.
Elizabeth K. replied:
Dr. Patrick Flynn at The Wellness Way in Howard, hands down! I am in the process of correcting my thyroid as we speak! He looks into WHY your thyroid is not functioning properly and fixes that problem. Personally, I tested for 12 food sensitivities that where causing my thyroid to not function correctly, which in turn caused other symptoms because my whole body was "screaming" at my thyroid to do it's job! His knowledge on the thyroid and other female hormones is jaw dropping. He has prevented many from needs thyroid meds, and even gets those who have been on it for years, off. You can search Dr. Patrick Flynn Thyroid on YouTube to watch one of his seminars and get an idea of the way he thinks.
