I'm trying to find a place to get an oil change done that I can walk to from Old Greenbelt, since I've struck out at all the car repair places I've tried in Annapolis...
Linda I. replied:
Highly recommend Sunoco or Greenbelt Auto and Truck.
Lisa S. replied:
Goss garage in Seabrook will give you a ride to/from Greenbelt. They've worked on all our vehicles for 15 years and love them!
Peggy B. replied:
Greenbelt auto & truck..or Sunoco...I work in the Co-op. Convenient for me..! I always love their honesty and hard work!
Mary S. replied:
We've been using Greenbelt Truck & Auto for years. I have them very reliable and not prone to do repairs you don't really need.
Janice W. replied:
Sunoco or Greenbelt Auto &Truck, and they're across the street from a main bus stop, and you can pick up after hours with either.
Bob R. replied:
Greenbelt Auto and Truck as well as Greenbelt Sunoco share the same owners and outstanding business philosophy as well as a mutual commitment to great work at reasonable prices. They've made Washington Consumer's Checklist in the past.
Lawrence P. replied:
I've used the Mobil (now Sunoco) for oil changes for 15 years...no problems. Mondays and Fridays are their busiest days so Tuesday through Thursday are best. Greenbelt Auto and Truck is excellent but I use then for big jobs like axle bearing work. They replaced my transmission about 5 years ago and whenever the guy that owns the place sees me says "How's that tranny running?"
Rebecca C. replied:
Have you tried the Lube Center in Gambrills, which is not far from Annapolis? They're friendly, quick, you can even stay in your car if you want while they're changing your oil, they have an adjacent car repair place and a good car wash... I always go to them. It's not near Greenbelt, but it could be a good option on your way home from work. http://www.thelubecenter.com/locations/Gambrills-State-Rt-3-N-Millersville-Rd

I live in Annapolis now and there is a great place with a very honest and competent mechanic. Dave's Auto 410-268-8010
Tom F. replied:
The station by the Parkway, ask for Matt or Greenbelt Truck and Auto, ask for Mike. Tell them Tom sent you!
Christina K. replied:
Love, love, love Greenbelt Auto and Truck!! Joe and all the staff there are the best!
Bonnie S. replied:
Greenbelt Auto & Truck is where we take all of our vehicles.
Can anyone recommend a good, reasonable priced mechanic in the area?
Wendy Y. replied:
I've been using Just Car Service in College Park (near the metro) for years now. Owner is James Hwang 301-277-1234
Julie W. replied:
Greenbelt Sunoco and the BP on Southway both have good, affordable mechanics.
Anna B. replied:
Greenbelt Sunoco! They have fixed numerous, numerous things on our rather old car. One of them broke after they had recently replaced it and they replaced it a second time with no charge. Great honest mechanics. My (female) friend was being told by her dealer she needed her timing belt replaced (after 3 other replacements) and a host of other things. We recommended she talk to the people at Greenbelt Sunoco for a second opinion. They told her the things that really needed doing (just one of the items the dealer had listed) and were $200 cheaper.
Derrick E. replied:
Greenbelt Sunoco is the best! The VW dealer recommended new brakes. I took it to Sunoco and they said they were fine. I complained about the dealer to them, and their mechanic said "We have enough honest work. We don't need any dishonest work."
