I would REALLY recommend using Chris Long at Long's Home Repair@252-813-4708. He can take care of both the roofing and plumbing. He put out roof on our historical house and handled a few other issues we had. PS - remember if she is in the historical district she will have to submit to the historical commission for approval. Please share with her my name and email: Ann@mindthegappr.com and I can be helpful as a new home owner of a historical house. Plus my husband is a member of the historical commission and he tell her what she needs to do to submit.

I always use Sam Pollard Plumbing. They replaced 30 feet of pipe under our house on an emergency call last year and it only cost about $200 or so. Several years ago it was on New Years' Eve and they were here for hours until 7 PM and it was still not a high fee. We have had them out here for other problems as well, and have always been happy with their work.
Lynn C. replied:
Holton Plumbing; guick, reasonable, and reliable
Charles C. replied:
Sue, I have also used Pollard Plumbing for BIG jobs. They're OK, too, but use Tim Morris of A-1 plumbing for most repairs.
Since everyone was so helpful last time...anyone know of a good plumber in the Tarboro area???
Joy A. replied:
Rusty Webb, inbox me if you need the number. Best one that has ever been to my house!
Shirley W. replied:
Ray Rose or Mr. Baker, both are reliable, reasonable, and good at their work
Beverly F. replied:
Ray Rose is the one who charged mama a fortune for something I could have fixed. He's also the one who didn't fix the stuff at your old house, and again, charged a fortune.

Jena Kerns.....Bob got his "under the house" clothes on to go check out the pipes. We turned on the water (hot water side) and it was just dripping and then it started coming out faster and then....voila....it came faster and soon we had hot water. Boy, oh boy, was Bob relieved he didn't have to go underneath the house to check out the pipes. But, thanks, anyway, Jena!
Greenville, NC area: I need a recommendation for a plumber -- it will likely involve cutting out and adding back pipe to fix a bathtub.

If Ronnie can't do it call Hootie Jolly in Ayden. Ronnie does a lot of new construction and I'm not sure if he does much small repairs. Could be wrong but either Ronnie or Hootie are awesome!!
