Looking to get into making jerky. Can anyone recommend a cheap butcher? My girlfriend got me a food dehydrator for Christmas and Ive been dying to use it to make jerky....

I make jerky quite a bit. I don't have a specific butcher I go though. I always use top round (London broil), it's lean and pretty cheap.

Rick, I'm not sure if i am reading your post correctly. is your friend looking to buy some for personal use or to put in the store? unless you have a honey house that is insoected a beekeeper can't sell for third party sales. I know Mary Bell has an apiary, honey house and awesome honey. I used to buy from her before I got my own hives.
