That said, this place is highly rated by my foodie friends: http://www.seldenstandard.com and I like this place: http://www.vicente.us/ this is a Midtown classic with its own parking lot: http://unionstreetdetroit.com for a good burger (also in Midtown): http://www.honestjohnsdetroit.com more vegetarian choices: http://www.casscafe.com really, except for Vicente's, all are in midtown, which seems to have more food options. Roma Cafe in Eastern Market is classic Italian. Mangia!
