Any recommendations for a good bar/restaurant to party in Toronto? Something with a good atmosphere that's not full of stuck up douche bags that drive Mazda Miata's...
Erika J. replied:
Have you checked out Bar Isabel? http://barisabel.com/
Zao F. replied:
The Madison is great. Loose Moose has a great vibe and live music downstairs
Ross T. replied:
Spirithouse Whiskey Bar. A little expensive but if you like real whiskey or rare whiskey, you can get it there. Haven't had the food but looks amazing. Check out blogTO. More 'lounge-y' than party
Courtney J. replied:
If you have a small party who likes beer you have to visit Bellwoods Brewery. Ossington has a ton of great restos and bars. If you want something trashy with no line and an extensive beer list hit up Rhino.
Michelle L. replied:
Bier Market on the Esplanade
Carrie J. replied:
Grand Electric/Electric Mud BBQ//Bellwoods Brewery
Sarah E. replied:
I second the Grand Electric recommendation! Fantastic Bourbons and Fish Tacos!!!
Chris B. replied:
Grand Electric is a great place. Amazing food. Little bit of a line up sometimes
Alright kids, survey time: does Windsor need or want a new cafe/bistro/restaurant/bar? If so, where? If not, why not? Thanks for your input and opinions.
Melissa N. replied:
If you need any help, I'm in school for advertising/marketing and am always looking for extra credit work to add to my resume! (For free, that is,) You might want to look into something like http://www.Surveymonkey.com where you can make an actual poll and post it on popular Windsor Facebook pages (Milk comes to mind. Seems like everyone is facebook friends with Milk. And Phog.)
Derek F. replied:
Honey Badger Bistro is a new place to check out in the East end Melissa. Good food, a few craft beers offered, and a nominal $10 corking fee if you choose to bring your own wine to dinner. Corner of Glidden and Wyandotte.

Our son has brought us to try many of the new burger places around town. By far Mamo Burger is our favourite for the burgers AND the sides. They have great onion rings abd delicious mac & cheese which we order to share, The appeal reaches a 4 yr.old, a 7 year old, two 39 year olds. a 67 yar old and one 70 year old. I do not mind paying the price if the food is good, plentiful and served by a frienly staff. Definitely looking forward to going back soon.
