Who is everyone using for Internet Service in PML? I have AT&T Dsl and want to see if there are other options in the area... Thanks

I know sev.ral, Sonnet users who have recently switched to Sierra Nevada. Trees have a tendency to grow and block reception somewhere along the transmitter line, and it's apparently real easy to run over the meter and incur extra charges. Sonnet is www.sonnet.com

We use AT&T DSL, and I'm able to do the basics, including WebEx. Buffered Youtube is possible, but streaming a movie is out of the question. However, for less than $20 a month for unlimited usage, it's fine for now. Hoping that they either upgrade or another major player comes in. My neighbor has Sierra Nevada, and it's noticeably faster.

I have Conifer for about 2 1/2 years now and it's a lot like Sonnet except it's not a metered service and have been mostly happy with the service so far. On occasion, my access speed slows down but that's probably fairly common for operating in this area. You can check them out at www.conifercommunications.com

After 13+ years of being part-timers, someone in my family is finally going to have the privilege of living at PML full-time (unfortunately, it's my daughter, not me....

I don't think any cell provider works everywhere in PML. Golden State Cellular probably reaches the most places, but still not all.
Hi all, who is the best internet service provider in the area? I have Hughes Net and while the service isn't bad the 10 GB limit puts a cap on what I can do.
