I've got two designs done by Marc Chislett at Nostalgia Tattoos downtown. He does amazing work and is a great guy. I highly recommend him. https://www.instagram.com/nostalgia_marc/

I'd recommend taking to the artist that will do the tattoo with you. [Evan Dowdell at Time Will Tell](http://www.timewilltelltattoo.com/web/evan-dowdell/) is a great artist and a nice guy; he could probably steer you the right way.
Any recommendations for a great tattoo artist in the area?

Most wait lists are lengthy if you want someone good, my last ones took about 3-4 months wait, but well worth it. If he's still around I recommend Chris Anthon private shop in Guelph. My others were done at Stigmata, by Steve but I believe he's moved to another shop now.
Steve Baker worked at Stigmata for years and now owns his own shop called The Prestige in Guelph. His realism is off the charts! Won a few awards. Has s waiting list and doesn't do walk-ins which a good thing. Very chill and easy going guy. I've got my last 3 by him and will be doing a few more in the future!

I had Ed at Stigmata (now somewhere in Oakville I believe ) for my flower tat and Cloud at Ink Obsession for my b/w angel tat. Both were GREAT! What are u getting !? Can 't wait for my next ones, just have yo stop getting preggo!, lol
Anyone know of an amazing tattoo shop/artist in the area?
Doug W. replied:
I always had Angela at Lucky Souls in Preston do mine. Wasn't a fan of the parlour, but I knew the artist personally. I'm not sure if she's there anymore either. Also Annabella at Way Cool does beautiful work especially pointillism, and once again, not a fan of the parlour and not sure if she's still there.
Doug W. replied:
Jesse Villemere is probably the best artist around this area, but I'm not sure if he still does ink or if he just runs his store. He also had like a two year waiting list.
Anyone looking to get a tattoo done in Guelph. I highly recommend Steve Morin at Stigmata!

For old school beautiful traditional work you can hardly do better than Scott Schickman (I think he's still at the Mercy Seat). I'd also recommend Mark Galloway at Windhorse, (above the Fishtank theater).
