Does anyone know of a physical therapist (or at least a chiropractor) in Gwangju? Would prefer a physical therapist.

Hey there! Does anyone know of a good chiropractor in Gwangju? I live in Hak-dong but I'm willing to commute just about anywhere if someone has a good one to recommend....
Lauren N. replied:
Dr. Yoon in Duamdong. You can call him to make an appointment and directions. 07027690465 or check out the website; www.spineposture.com - just select the Gwangju branch. He is a touch on the costly side but is really worth every penny!

Go see Dr. Yoon he is a really nice honest guy and can speak English and was trained in Australia. He is my chiropractor, I won't see anyone else!
Amy D. replied:
He's not expensive at all!:) My chiro in Seoul charges something like 80 000 per session (150 000 for the first consultation, with scans & explanatory models & things, so definitely worth it)... but full treatment at his clinic (personalised Pilates, deep tissue massage & chiropractic realignment) sets me back 260 000 every.single.time... And(!) it's in Seoul. He's incredible(!!!), but I'm probably going to pay Dr Yoon a visit next month instead. I've heard many rave reviews ^_^ (cc Jessie Calderon -- I completely forgot that you wanted this information too! See Lauren Norton's comment above.)
Clinic Body & Soul is listed in the Gwangju guidebook. Not sute if they do chiropractic, but they do speak English. They're in Buk-gu and the number is 011-670-0349 or 062-525-0606. Email: david65@hanafos.com If you can't find a chiropractor, massage is pretty prevalent here so you might consider that route.

His name is Dr. Yun. Does great work even if he is a bit gentle. Tell a taxi driver Duam-dong Nong-Hyup Sam-geo-ree. It's on the 3 rd floor of a bluish building that looks like it has a pool hall on the second floor.
Thanks for approving my request! Finally got around to joining aftrr moving up here 4 months ago.

I've got a bulging disc in my spine. It's killing me. I've already been to a chiropractor, and been treated. But right now what I need is some pain management.
Anyone...
Jd G. replied:
JJ. I know EXACTLY your pain... I've had the same problem since before xmas. Dr. Kang over at Geo-med is who I go to for pain management and takes walk-ins. If you have your xrays, bring them along, else he will just send you one floor down for new ones. Speaks good English. http://www.geomedclinic.com/
